Automoto AV125 details

I'm going to use this page to document any details such as dimensions, adjustments etc that I think might be useful. It will mainly be for my quick reference but hopefully it will help someone else too. 

Engine:

• Villiers 10D, 125cc. 
• French made under license. 
• Has some changes when compared to English engine of same era, mainly - larger main bearings with different seals, different points, primary drive sprocket is a taper fit (tight!). 
• Whole engine uses metric fasteners.

Front Suspension:

• Linkage washers are 50mm OD, 10mm ID and 3mm thick - I sourced my replacements from eBay for a Motoconfort 
• Headset bearings are loose 3/16" balls top and bottom. 
• Assembly - Steering damper must be fitted before lower axle is pushed through. 

 Seat and Tank assembly - there is a specific order to this, I cannot remember what it is

Tyre size - 19 x 3.00 front and rear
